Customers' Reviews
What does our customers say about us?
"Why is this place so special? A point that I will not miss is that they serve really fresh seafood. From what I know, the boss often-ly go on boat trips for the seafood himself. I guess that explains it all. If you’re looking for nice fish dishes etc, this is the place to be."

"The#9 most popular of 80 restaurants in Penang: food is excellent. Try the deep-fried spinach . . . even the kids will love it! Ask Jeffrey to recommend the dishes and forget the menu. Seafood is the specialty. It's great value for your money and the atmosphere is simple but very friendly."

"While entering the restaurant, most of the customer would be attracted by the decoration of this place, which could easily tell them that the owner is an ardent angler. In fact this is true and most of the decoration comes from Jeffrey, who loves fishing. He hangs a lot of photo which show his fishing "achievement" on the wall. Besides, there are a lot of other decorations which able to let the customer feel like they are navigating on a ship."

"Seafood Tomyam. This serving for two came with a price tag of RM22 but it was filled to the brim with FOUR huge ass prawns, fish and baby octopus. We were paying for quality and I declared, after slurping a few spoonfuls of the fiery liquid, that I would happily foot the bill!"

"This place is cozy and makes me feel like eating in my grandma's old house. And the boss is so fond of fishing, so you'll find the interior is decorated with his fishing photos, and even fishing hooks on the wall."

"There are so many Thai food restaurants in Penang. However, I like "Chili Corner" the most even though it might not have a great selection of dishes from the menu. This is mainly because their seafood here are very fresh. Really... It is famous for it's fish especially. To me, it's rather hard to find such fresh fish in the restaurants. The price is quite reasonable too. Also, some of the dishes are really good"
